Calyx Foundation Grant Program
The Calyx Foundation Micro-Grant Program is designed to support rising and developing contemporary artists at critical early stages of their careers. The program provides direct financial assistance to artists whose practices demonstrate commitment, clarity of vision, and a need for meaningful support to continue their work.
We recognize that many emerging artists face financial and structural barriers that can limit their ability to create, experiment, and sustain a consistent practice. This micro-grant exists to ease those pressures and allow artists to focus on their work during an important period of growth.
Grants may be used flexibly to support an artist’s practice, including — but not limited to — materials, studio expenses, project development, documentation, and related creative costs.
Who This Grant Is For.
This program is intended for:
• Emerging and early-career contemporary artists
• Artists working in any contemporary medium
• The Calyx Foundation welcomes inquiries from artists, advisors, and organizations worldwide.
• Artists who are not currently well-resourced or institutionally supported
Artists may be self-taught, formally trained, or working independently. Gallery representation is not required and does not impact eligibility.
